Privacy Policy
WHOSEBIAS is the official registry of AI idols, operated by MyBlin9. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
We run the registry on as little personal data as we can. In practice we hold four things.
- Account data. When you sign in with Google or with an email magic link, Supabase Auth stores your email address, and for Google sign-in the display name and profile picture URL your Google account provides. These are written to our profiles table.
- Artist registrations. Everything a creator submits about an AI artist: names, profile text, images, channel links, and the contact details they choose to give us.
- Cheer counters. A cheer is one tap per artist per UTC day. The tally is stored on the artist, and the record that you already cheered today lives only in your own browser's local storage. No account or identifier is attached to a cheer.
- Server logs. Our host keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, user agent, path and time — for security and debugging.
How we use it
What we hold is used for these purposes only.
- To sign you in, keep you signed in, and show your name and avatar in the header.
- To publish the registry: verified artist pages, rankings, member profiles and the Bias Battle pool.
- To review registrations and contact the creator who submitted one.
- To keep the site running, prevent abuse and fix faults.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers.
Google user data
WHOSEBIAS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request basic sign-in scopes only. The name, email address and profile picture we receive are used solely to identify your account and to display your name and avatar while you are signed in. We never sell this data, never transfer it to anyone other than the service providers listed below that host it on our behalf, and never use it for advertising. No human reads it except when you ask us for support or the law requires it.
Cookies
There are two cookies, and no others.
- The Supabase authentication session cookie, which keeps you signed in. Clearing it signs you out.
- A locale preference, which remembers whether you read the site in English, Korean or Japanese.
We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies.
Where it is stored
We rely on these providers to run the site.
- Supabase (Seoul region) hosts our database and authentication.
- Vercel hosts and serves the site and keeps the request logs.
- YouTube embeds appear on some artist pages. When a video loads, Google receives that request and its own cookie policy applies. Nothing about your WHOSEBIAS account is sent with it.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data for as long as the account exists, and published registry entries for as long as they are listed. To delete your account, take a registration down, or ask what we hold about you, email myblin9@gmail.com from the address on the account. We act within 30 days. The cheer record in your browser can be removed at any time by clearing the site's data.
Children
WHOSEBIAS is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are for people aged 13 and over. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 13 we delete it. A parent or guardian can write to myblin9@gmail.com to ask us to do so.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page, and we post a notice on the site for material changes. Continuing to use WHOSEBIAS after a change means you accept the updated policy.
